SHE IS HOME!!!
We got home today about 1:30 PM, the 30 mile ride from the hospital was uneventful. Clara slept while Mom and Dad were on pins and needles. We were also remembering Jake and the fact that we were only coming home with one and we were so excited about having two. It has been a hard time for me lately. But is wonderful to have Clara home and we are very thankful for her.
So far she has done very well at home and the animals have checked her out but are unimpressed . She has already gone through three outfits and two sets of bedding. Daddy uncovered her bottom and forgot about the damage an uncovered bottom can do.
She came home weighing 5 lbs 1oz and is on low o2 and a heart monitor. That monitor sounds wonderful at 3 am (NOT!)
