We had a very nice Holiday with our families and Clara enjoyed her first Christmas. She so good with all of our guests and visitors. She is now sitting up on her own and is in early stages of crawling and very vocal. She has not said any words yet but knows how to get our attention with her voice.
Krystal and I are eagerly anticipating 2006 and the adventures it brings. It is so amazing to watch Clara learn and everyday she seems to be more aware of her surroundings.
2005 was by far the worst year of my life because of the lose of Jacob but because of Clara and her amazing will to survive and now thrive and Krystal's ability to cope and blossom as a mother it has been one of the most fulfilling years but I am ready to move on and put the year's experience behind me.
Cheers for now

Clara has started to celebrate her first Holiday Season with dinner with our friends Bob and Sherri. Then she went to visit to grandma and Great Grandma & Great Grandpa in Royston, GA and a quick visit with Aunt Judy and Uncle Larry in Clemson.
She received all kinds of great presents to include books, dolls, stuffed animals, movies, clothes and a Christmas dress with Santa hat that she is so adorable in (thanks to Sherri and Bob). She also got a nice stroller with the big bike wheels for walks around the neighborhood.
She saw Dr. Ash (lung doctor) on Friday; he was very encourage by her growth and progress. He has ordered a chest x-ray just to verify that her lungs are recovering from prematurity properly and to give Krystal and I piece of mind.
My clan is traveling to South Carolina to spend the holidays with Clara, so my brother Scott and I will be busy geocaching a vast majority of the time.
Happy Holidays to All

Clara now is 27.5 inches long and weighs almost 16 lbs. We went to the NC mountains last weekend and picked Clara's first tree and then she visited Santa this week. She still is not sitting up on her own yet but she is partially mobile (rolling) and must be watched closely. She does have a series of doctor and specialist visits but the are all just check ups or progress visits.
