Clara started Pre-K yesterday. She had a great day. She liked the kitchen area, play-dough, and of coarse snack! None of us cried, which is a big deal seeing as I think we all had emotions running high. Mike and I hoped for this day, while staring into that plastic box she use to live in. Now it is here, and Clara is loving it! There was one funny moment. I showed up early to pick her up in the carpool. She was on the playground with the other kids. I watched for a bit, without her knowing. She was riding a trike. She got off for a moment, and another little girl got on the trike. Now, I know what you are thinking, hair pulling, biting, Clara screaming,"That's MINE!!!". Well, our little Southern Belle handled it like a lady. She looked at the little girl and said,"Excuse me, excuse me." The little girl got off! See, you do catch more flies with honey.

We have a new member to our little family. We proudly introduce, Miss Cassie Mae Sherwood!!! She is 6 weeks old. She is very sweet. Clara just loves her. Clara likes to Mother her, but puppies have sharp teeth and nails. Clara's a little turned off by that. Cassie promises to be a great addition to the Sherwood Family.
