Clara had two doctor's appointments last week. She went to see Dr. Saunders. He is her eye doctor. So far, so good. He said her vision is still 20/20. Her eyes are becoming a little more lazy. He wants to check her in three months. She may need a stronger prescription for her glasses. She also saw Dr. Threatt, for her 4 year-old check up. BE GLAD YOU WERE NOT THERE!!!! She got her finger pricked, blood drawn, and 4 shots. Have mercy!! She was three colors past ticked off. She had the blood drawn, because we were told that she is allergic to Penicillion. I wanted her tested to make sure. She got her Chicken Pox shot too. Silver lining.....no more shots until she is 11 years-old. The only bad thing Dr. Threatt had to say, was that Clara has lost a little weight. She weighs 28 pounds. She weighed that much when she was 2. She has only gained one pound since this time last year. She has to drink Boost, Kid Essintals once a day. It's choc. milk with vitamins, etc. in it. We had to go back to whole milk, and I have to add heavy cream to her milk. She will have a weigh check in three months. If Dr. Threatt is not happy, then Clara can be put on suppliments. This is the first time she has really lost weight, other than being sick. It's not too bad, but we need to fatten the little darlin up. Also, Clara will play Tee-ball this Spring. We will post her schedule, so those that are local, can attend her games, if you want. Her Daddy got her a left handed, pink tee-ball glove, THAT LIGHTS UP!! How fabulous is that?????
