Feb 15th
They have decided to try a different approach to feeding Clara, instead of a gravity fed system they will "drip it" into her stomach over a few hours. They hope this cut down her breathing Hiccups "Dsats". She is still taking 7ml per feedings every 3 hours. They also changed the type of CPAP device to reduce the potential damage to the bridge of the her nose. They will alternate the devices every so often.
A few people have asked about Clara's names. Clara is named after my Grandmother (my mother mom). She passed when I was eight, but she had an early influence on my life because she lived with us in her final years. Judith was chosen to honor Krystal's Aunt Judy who has always been there for Krystal and has accepted me as one of her own. Also Judith was chosen because I promised a caring Clemson professor and friend that I would name my first born after her for the her guidance and helping me find the right career path and for having the fortitude to show me that I was passing up a job of a lifetime.
