Well, it's official. Clara is now in Kindergarten. She is going to York Preparatory Academy. She had a great first day. I am very proud of her. This is the moment I dreamed of, as I was staring into that awful clear box, willing Clara to survive. Not only did she survive, she kicked butt, and took names!!! You go girl!!

Clara got to fly to Pittsburgh with Daddy on a work trip. Gammy and Poppa picked her up and sehe spent several days with them and then Daddy joined her for the weekend before returning home. Mamma enjoyed some "downtime"

Clara went to see Santa today. We finally got out of the house today. Clara has been very sick this week. Bronchitis, an Ear Infection, and the Flu, all at once. She are doing breathing treatments, and she's on tons of meds. She missed school all last week. Poor baby!

Halloween is right around the corner, and Clara is soooo excited. We went to the King's Mountain Trick-or-Treat. Clara is Jo-Jo the clown this year. Halloween night should be a hoot. We are going to go to a party, and trick-or-treat with her friend Alyssa. More on that later.

Clara started Pre-K yesterday. She had a great day. She liked the kitchen area, play-dough, and of coarse snack! None of us cried, which is a big deal seeing as I think we all had emotions running high. Mike and I hoped for this day, while staring into that plastic box she use to live in. Now it is here, and Clara is loving it! There was one funny moment. I showed up early to pick her up in the carpool. She was on the playground with the other kids. I watched for a bit, without her knowing. She was riding a trike. She got off for a moment, and another little girl got on the trike. Now, I know what you are thinking, hair pulling, biting, Clara screaming,"That's MINE!!!". Well, our little Southern Belle handled it like a lady. She looked at the little girl and said,"Excuse me, excuse me." The little girl got off! See, you do catch more flies with honey.

We have a new member to our little family. We proudly introduce, Miss Cassie Mae Sherwood!!! She is 6 weeks old. She is very sweet. Clara just loves her. Clara likes to Mother her, but puppies have sharp teeth and nails. Clara's a little turned off by that. Cassie promises to be a great addition to the Sherwood Family.
